New Friends

The last Sunday of December we met this wonderful family from Peru- the Guerrero's who walked into our meeting and wanted to know how they could get the missionaries to come to their home and teach them more about the BOM. Long story short, they were baptized Jan. 17 and are happy members of the church. We have had them over a couple of times for dinner and this time was they made us a traditional Peruvian dinner, very yummy. I was in heaven, I had a lot of Peruvian food on my mission and it was great. It has been such a great missionary experience for our family, it strengthens our testimonies of every member is a missionary and if you pray for missionary opportunities they will be given to you! Missionary work is trully the work of the Lord, and once you have had those experineces you have experience how sweet and true the gospel is and how much love our Heavenly Father has for ALL his children.

Winter Madness

Posing like superheros?

Troy only like the superman pj's, if he wears them all day and all night like this day he runs around real fast all the day and all night!

Movie night: After popcorn.
p.s. the cat keeps them warm, due to the heating down stairs. Are we resourceful or what?

Movie night: Before the popcorn.
Yes he is wearing a pirate costume, he's into that now!

What is he doing??? and why is he doing that when I said I wanted to take a picture??
Yes, that is our cat in there. I think someone put her in there? I'm not sure if she likes it in there but it looked like a good picture.

Are our hands full or what! We can't have any more children, there's no room on papi's lap.
What a good Dad though, reading the BOM with his kids!

Why is Troy sooooo messy????Is it a boy thing, and when is he going to do better??? I know you can't see it but he was covered in chocolate, and I only gave him a brownie!

I thougth this hilarious so I copied it from my friends blog for all you computer people.

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowdown in

overall system performance -- particularly in the flower and jewelery applications, which

operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0 In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other

valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed

undesirable programs such as AFL 5.0, The Ashes 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1.Conversation 8.0 no

longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to

fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

Signed, Desperate
............ ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ....

Dear Desperate:

First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an

Operating System. Please enter the command: 'http: I Thought You Loved Me.html' and try to

download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as

designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers

3.5.But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to

Grumpy Silence 2.5, or Video game Hour 7.0 . Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law

1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system

resources). Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported

applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it

does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying

additional software to improve memory and performance.

We recommend Food 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

2009 blog starter

So after reading my blog last year, I found that I had left poor little Trey out most of the time. So I'm gonna start out the year out right and give him his very own post. The Grandparents will like this. Our little bear is huge! His 6 month stats were he is short and fat! Not exactly, but he is 18lbs 11 oz. which means he has only gained 10bls since birth. And I forgot how long he is, it said he was a bit short for his weight, but he was in the 100th percentile for cuteness!! He also has officially graduated from his baby torticollis. He got an official certificate and all althought we still need to be doing excercises with him at home we no longer go to therapy. Yippy! He is growing up so fast, he just adores his sister and starting to warm up to Troy and visa versa. He may look sweet and tender, but don't let that fool ya! He does have a temper and an intenseness about him but mostly intense happyness. He is quite agile for a tubby boy, he can move around pretty fast and to his desire. In a little bit no one will be able to hold him back but "the gate".

Two things he is serious about is 1. Food. He loves baby food and cerial and anything that he can eat and never seems to get enough even if he has had enough. I know if he could talk he would say--"where is the hamburger and fries mom!" He seriously has an appetite. But I never thought he wouldn't, the boy was downing 4 oz of formula or breastmilk days after birth and at every 2 hours. I am abit scared about the teenage years. The second thing he is obsessed about is.... take a guess???? Yes it's the cat poor Tosh has learned to control her temper around him a bit. But we all know she does not like him and would really like to take a piece of him when possible. All in all she tolerates him well. I'm giving him one more month and I think he will be alot faster at chasing her down and might even catch her. He already goes after her as best as he can. As you can see. One more thing about our cute boy, is his hair. I don't think he will need a hair cut until he is 20 yrs old. See there is alot of it, but it won't grow past his hair line in the front or the back he has not needed any haircuts or even trims. We love our Trey! He has been our best baby yet, and we thougth the other two were good and they were until we had Trey.

This is funny, I don't know how to turn the video right side up. sorry, but you'll still see our little tubby boy and his sweet smile. (I think he looks like popeye in this video because you get to see his big buff arms.)
