Lost no more!

Yesterday was one great day for the Olson family. We received a phone call from the Lindon Shelter and they told us a girl from who lives in Provo found our cat in Lehi somewhere between the library and wines park. We went to pick her up an she was in great spirits and happy to see us. Unfortunately she has lost alot of weight but is eating and drinking fine now. We also found four really big bruises on her body when we were giving her a bath, which makes us sad and we hope she got them herself instead of someone giving them to her. We would like to thank all of you who have prayed for our cat and for us to find it.(Matthew Lynes and my family) This has been a wonderful opportunity for us to learn and teach of the importance of prayer and the love of our heavenly father for us and his children, specially his little children. We also learned our lesson to never take her collar off and that putting the microchip in her payed off.

Zoo Trip

We are trying to get some activities out of the heat of the summer to make for more pleasant outings when Trey comes. This stop was the Hogle Zoo. Weather was okay for the kids, it was great for the pregnant mommy! Karina was having a not so good day, she was more in to what snacks she was not getting instead of the animals, and Troy was just amazed as a 2 year old would have been. He's favorite was the Train ride, he could not stop looking at the train, even in the picture he can't look at the camera because of the train. All through out the ride he was chooo, chooing, he's all boy.

Graduation Day

Last thursday was Karina's very last day of preschool for the year, and they had a cute little program to show us some of the things they learned this year. So now we are the proud parents of a first year preschool graduate!

Here is a little clip from one of the songs they did I think it's the execise alphabet or something, but it's cute.

Field Trip day

We have had alot of events lately, it's almost hard to keep up with them. Last week we went on our last field trip of preschool to the childrens discovery museum, it was alot of fun. Karina never left the kitchen area, and the grocery store. Troy loved the ball sucking devise or the behive section it was a hit. When we got home Karina said her favorite was the grocery store, where she went to town buying food and taking it to the kitchen area.

Both of them liked the horse, I think Troy liked it the most. But it does'nt really show.

Troy also found a hard hat for construction working and he love it, could not take it off. And last this is really cute to see him trying figure out how the ball sucking tube worked.

Finally a warm day!

If you turn your music down at the bottom, you'll be able to hear Troy tell me "push me" as I'm pushing Breken, and you can hear them squeal like little pigs, it's really cute.

We got some sun! On Monday we went to the park with our neighbors and had a little picnic and the kids played and played in the playground and just had too much fun. When we got home they were both so ready for a nap and they both took a long one. That night for FHE we decided to go swimming and Troy was sooo excited as Grant put it he was violently excited to go swimming. They swam and swam until their little bellies were full of pool water(sad to admit but true) and we concluded with a good dinner and treat our family lesson and off to bed. They went to bed at 8:35 pm and did not make a sound till the next morning after 8:30 am. It was so nice, That is exactly how I want the rest of my sunny days to be like! It's days like these that you feel like I'm such a good mom, see I knew it, my little kids are just great and predictable. Too bad there aren't enough of these days in 1 year or a week. I guess one will do.

As you can see Troy never took his goggles off, well maybe 5 minutes out of the 1 1/2 hours we were there he did not have them on, but fought us to keep them on even when they were completely fogged up.

Karina did not want to be part of the huge water bucket, I don't blame her it kinda hurts.

Troy is so fearless in water it's scary, he could go up the stairs to go down the slide all by himself, something Karina did not even do well last summer. Which only means one thing, we have one crazy 2 year old. He also kept running away from Grant and was pretty fast in the water.

Check out my Slide Show!

Birthdays

Troy turned 2 April 19th and Grant 29 on the 26th and Karina 4 on the 28th and we are finally over the Birthday mode thank goodness! We had a total of like 3 birthday parties combined and I think half my body weight is from those parities and the other half is actually a baby! Everyone had tons of fun and it's over for this year. My favorite picture is Troy holding his blanky, because if I allowed it he would carry this Big blanky with him everywhere. Also Karina's party was great, all those soon to be 4 year olds were just very, very well behaved and actually played some games. The weather that day was just too cold, but everyone did well inside and even the indoor version of duck, duck, goose was a hit.

LOST CAT

Our Kitty has been missing since Monday night and we have been looking for her everywhere we can think, but since this bad weather our search may have been a little bit limited. So if anyone has been around this area or I guess anywhere even close to your homes have seen her please give us a call. We have also contacted local shelters but no luck and we have some flyer's out too but nothing yet. Even though this was a "family" cat I think I 'm the one who misses her the most. Troy just thinks she's somewhere where his lost pirate sword is at, and Karina says we are no longer a family since she was our family cat and that we can't get any more cats. Any help or any other suggestions on how to find her would be appreciated. Thanks.
