A day in the life of

Trey McRae

He eats
and eats,
and eats some more. (he likes eating!)
Climbs on anything he can. This he was grateful to have it so strategically near the window so he could watch all the action outdoors.
Climbs some more, even where he can't get down, and if helped he will climb it 100 times until you no longer help him. (which was the case here)
He also sleeps a lot for which we are grateful for, and of course he poops too.
Other things he is into are: pulling hair, going up and down the stairs, or just going upstairs when everyone is down stairs. Putting everything in his mouth including handfuls of cat hair he pulls of her. And last his siblings whom he adores, Karina the most but Troy will be up there in no time, he is very kind to him and gentle for a boy. (we like that, I can almost see more aggression in Trey than Troy) All in all Trey is a good big boy, we'll keep him!

The other child

It has been a year now that we got our little Tosh back. We lost her last April and found her at the end of May. We were so happy to have her back we have taken better care for her since then. We now don't ever go to bed with our tucking our kids and double checking to see if she is in her bed in the garage and she always has her tags on. Although I think she knows better now to come back before dark. Anyway, we love her and we think she loves us too!

Lately she has been lying around key walking areas, as if she owns the place.

Since she's come back she has gained all her weight back and some!

Being Camera shy.

She is the only brave one to pick her up, barely. But you see how Tosh has one paw on each side of her face, well long story short that is how you end up with cat bite marks on your face.

She does an awesome job at hiding in the front. She is a very good hunter, always brings us all sorts of bugs and she eats all spiders she can catch. One time we had a nest of baby birds that somehow hatched in our yard, the birdies were walking around everywhere as our cat simply dismissed the thought of catching then or even going after them for fun. We may never ever get a real catch of a bird or mice/rat from her, but some cats were just made to be pets and look beautiful. To the kids, she's the real life Skippyjon Jones to which she is neither Siamese or adventurous.

Trying something new

Since our preschool ended at the end of April, we decided to try something new in May. We were so excited to have actually gotten in to Gymnastics class at the legacy center. Once in I found out that May happens to be their short month and that is probably why there were openings. But they have a short month for a reason, in May they do their end of year exhibition. Which was awesome! They have them do what ever they do in class individually and we get to clap and cheer for them. It was a hit with my kids. If any of you watch Sesame Street lately they are showing a new mini show called Murray had a little lamb were they go to different schools and learn different things---like gymnastics and they show kids getting medals and trophy's. Anyway both Karina and Troy have been asking if they can win a trophy for doing things so I was glad to hear that even though our month was cut short they were going to get that "coveted" medal which they got and even a little Gatorade with skittles to go with it. It was so worth it. Karina was very impressive for only attending 3 classes and Troy well, he looked like he only had taken 3 classes but he looked so cute! Especially on the beam, too bad they had bad lighting and none of my pics turned out, but they just looked so teeny tiny cute on it! We are not going to do it the rest of this summer but we will consider fall.

These were Karina's words in the car o the way home. Mami I love it, maybe I did not get enough gynastics ( it sounds just like this). But Mami, I knew I was going to do good and get a medal! My response--- You did great!( even thought there was not judges, and everyone got a medal and Gatorade)

Troy got to do it with his cousin who is in the same age but different class and they looked like such cute and big boys. They both are still playing with their medals.

Easter, Birthdays and more

So here it is all that we did in April and probably the longest post I've ever done.

Easter Sunday!

Easter Egg hunt. Our very own egg hunt, we always do it here at home for they kids and we only put things like raisins and other forms or healthy treats and maybe one SMALL bag of M&M's just because they look so cute in those Easter colors.

Eating their spoils!

This year I decided to just have one big Birthday party, I asked Troy and Karina who they were going to have at their party and they gave me their list and we went on from there. My family decided to pitch in for, well all of their party since they were in town and I bet Karina and Troy will want them to do their birthdays all the time.
At least it was a good day to be outside. Thanks to all for all the spider man gifts, he got so many spider man toys and costume, that anytime now he should be morphing into spider man in his sleep.

Our Most recent Graduate! Our little Karina is moving on in life. She will be in Kindergarden this fall and we are so excited for her.

And last but not least, we could not leave the tulip festival out! We actually made it there this year.

Yup, you guessed it, those are our kids rolling down. Is it okay to do this at the gardens?? Is there Garden Etiquette?? Let me know.

Too cute!
