Baby Trey

Trey's stats:
8 lbs 11 oz (by far the biggest baby we've had)
18 1/2 inches
lots of dark hair (like sister and brother)
straight hair (like sister)
skin tone is the lightest baby we've had so far, even with jaundice
real big cheeks and rolls on body
some jaundice (like sister and brother)
looks like, Maggie says: a little like both Karina and Troy and Grant with real big cheeks.
Grant says: Undecided
Nickname: Baby Bear, just look at him! (we have Nina or Mina and a Troy boy)

This is our much awaited little Trey. We have had a real busy week and have not been able to get to the computer due to our new little boy. But we cannot complain, he is very mellow and seems to have a very easy going personality. He loves to sleep and eat. Does not surprise his mom, for he barely moved and was a very heavy baby for mommy. Karina and Troy just love him and they don't seem to care for him much, which is just fine with us. We could not ask for a better family or children, we feel really blessed that all our babies so far have been real good babies. During our hospital stay I asked the nurse how I could know if he was a fussy baby and she said, Oh, he's not he's our best baby in the nursery so far and you would already know if he was a fussy one. So even though we know she was not going to tell us "Yes, you have a fussy one," it still made us feel good. He's a keeper!!

More swimming!!!!

This is what we did to get ready for Trey's arrival the day before.

Those kids are crazy when it comes to water, but they sure had fun! My mom was here and she decided that she would fill it with warm water instead of the nice cold water from outside and this was the result....absolute madness!!!

Swimming

Swimming was a hit with Karina this year, and we are glad we did it. We have figured that we need to work with her a little more as parents and probably not depend so much on the swimming teen girls. But all that mattered is Karina loved it.

Peppermint Twist

This last Saturday was our much awaited dance recital. It was awesome, they did real good for being four. With Karina being real shy, this was great to see her perform in front of alot, alot of people. Their costumes were pretty cute too, but not worth what they cost, for sure! We want to give many, many thanks to Heidi our sister in law for doing such a good job with our skirt. She had to cut and sew a big chunk off to actually make it fit, this was no surprise to me since she is still in size 2T bottoms the only surprise was I don't sew except, for buttons so we owe Heidi big. I really wanted everyone I knew to be there, it was one of those really happy parent moments. Any way enough talk, enjoy the Peppermint twist.
I could not get the first part due to the darkness in the room. I did not find the button on time, but not alot was missed since it was like only 2 minutes long.

Mama Drama!

Since our kitty has been home we have been so happy and right where we had left off. That is everyone else except for Toy. He has had a hard time with the kitty and his stuff.( can't wait to see what it's going to be with the baby!) Our poor little boy has been overwhelmed every time the cat decides to eat anything off the floor that came from his plate, and in screaming tears will say " the cat is eating my food". We look over to make sure cat is not eating off his plate on the table, but no she's just getting crumbs off the floor which apparently are his food still. Even explaining this to him does not satisfy him until we hold the cat or pretend food is on his plate again. He has also seen the kitty curl up with me, specially when using the computer she likes to sit on the desk and lay her head on my shoulder, just like you would hold a small baby to burp. This has made him ask me to hold him, " Mami I need up, up!". Scenario #3. Somehow the cat grabbed a hold of his blanket with her very, very sharp claws and Troy lost every bit of self control and was just a sea of tears and screams, yelling "this is my blanky" mind you no harm has been done to him phisically by the cat. Finally Grant takes the blanky from the cat and Troy is fine. One minute later the playing cat walks by the forgotten blanky and he freaks out yelling "No, My Blanky okay". What is a mother to do when pets and children fight.
