This last
Monday we had a couple of our friends over for
FHE. The kids love to see each other and we love to visit, and
of course have family home evening. This week, since it's December and it was at our home. I decided to ask my next door neighbor, who also happens to be our
hometeacher, if he would come to our home dressed as Santa.(I did not ask him randomly, I knew he had a Santa suit) It was so much fun to actually have Santa at our house. I told our kids that this was special, and that he does not come to
every ones home before Christmas, but that they were lucky. They were so impressed,
because this is the first year that Karina actually gets it, even Troy gets it for being so little. They loved every minute of it and went to bed very happy to know it's almost Christmas and they got tell Santa what they wanted.

We read a couple of Christmas stories while we waited for Santa. Thanks Jenny they were hooked!!
You can see Troy just bouncing up and down, he did not even care for the gifts he had, he was just thrilled to see him. We had requests for train sets, a bow and arrow, and kitchens and Troy's special request.... a Yo-Yo. Yes I know, interesting request for a boy living in the year 2008, but he just likes them. This has to be one of my favorite activities so far, I hope it was for everyone else.

I realize that this was only a success because of their ages, so I feel I have to cherish every moment of it. Time goes by so fast, I wish they could stay like this forever.
